Catching Up

Now that I have my mini alter-ego on my blog I can try to catch up with what little new things are happening and have happened in my wonderful life.

We went on a four day cruise with Jenny, her mom, her grandmother and Butch and Elaine.

Great fun was had by all. The night of embarkation we went to Palo's for dinner with Butch and Elaine. They liked it as do we. After dinner, we went to see "Confessions of a Shopaholic". It was good. I read the books and liked seeing them on screen. Disney was so smart to option these as there are multiple books that will make good movies.

Monday we did our favorite spa treatment "Exotic Rasul" Boy does that make your skin feel good. We did not get off in Nassau.

Tuesday we went to the private island "Castaway Cay" Problem was, it was coooooooool. We went out to Serenity Bay for lunch at the adult area. There was no one on the beach.

It was a pretty day but chilly.

Wednesday we had a sea day but had to make a side trip to Fort Lauderdale as they had a medical emergency on board and had a person to drop off. After that we puttered around out at sea and Thursday we returned back to Port Canaveral.

By the time we got home Rand and Lori had departed for Fort Meyers. Glad we had some good times with them before we left. They are coming again next year.

Then for a couple of days I fought with Mini Me but thanks to Beth and Donna, I managed to do it. Thanks Girls.

Yesterday we went up to Fort Wilderness Campground with Don and Flo to see Rand and Lori. We met their friends, Ed and Donna Miller. Really nice people. We played some canasta and went out to dinner at Carraba's.

Today I did a 5k workout with my nike+ipod. Boy do I like that. Thanks again to Beth and Donna. We went to dinner at Flo's for beef stew and played 500 and dominoes.

As always I wonder "who has it better than me?"

What a difference a day makes!!!

I was about to say in my blog that I was not going to stress any further over my little purple alter ego when low and behold she is there.
My epistemological modesty requires me to thank Donna and Beth for their help and concern.
Hopefully I will catch up with the blooging of the last cruise later today.

I cannot see her on my blog and I don't know why? She is just so dam cute. I want to be able to see her too.

I Am So Confused!!!!!

I don't know what I am doing wrong. When I first put my mini on my blog, she was there. I don't know what to do to get her back. It keeps saying it is private when I believe I made it public. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I am confused big time.

Happy Kitty

Good Morning, I will be blogging and putting pictures of the cruise later but I jjust had to share this with all who are interested.

Princess Oreo went out this morning and came to the window to come back in. I did not notice it but she had a present for me. She came through the door and dropped it on my foot.

A FEW DAYS AWAY

Well for all my followers : "Happy Valentine's Day" I love you all. I have decided not to take my computer on the four day cruise and will probably not blog. Hope you all can miss me for a few days. Don is feeling mucho better. I put his mickeys in this morning and have finished most of the packing. I am trying to take just one suitcase and one hanging bag for both of us.

We are going down to Flo and Don's for Chicken on the grill and salad. Rand and Lori will be gone by the time we get back from the cruise and I want them to know that we really enjoyed their visit and look forward to next year. Well enough rambling for now

Sorry that I have been negligient in my blogging but I have been busy getting ready for cruise. Donna, Jenny is a girl we ment in Charlotte at the Speedway. She is the ticket manager we made friends with. Her Grandmother and mother are going also. Rand and Laurie are here and we have been playing canasta with them and Don & Flo. We are going to the Moose for fish tonight and then I will finish packing and getting ready for Sunday. More later love to all

Missed A Day

Hey To All who follow my ramblings: We went to Orlando yesterday and finished up the reservation process for Jenny and her family stay at Disney. It is really nice here today and I am in the process of packing for the cruise. Butch and Elaine are going on the cruise too. Well back to work More later Love Ya All

Hallalujah Hallalujah

Finally the weather is getting warm like I like it. The temp is 73 degrees. I gave the patio a once over and blew the leaves off the carport and part of the driveway. I don't quite understand it but I seem to get more done when I don't feel up to par. Hard to figure. Don is still coughing but hopefully on the road to recovery. Next week at this time we will be on the cruise ship Disney Wonder. We are watching qualifying for Daytona. Neither one of us can really get into it this year yet. Rand and Laurie are on the way. Should be here by Tuesday I guess. Well going to go take a shower and throw together some egg plant parmesan. Hope all are warm, well and happy. Love to all.

Finally

It is finally warming up in frigid Florida. Not quite enough to go outside and do lawn work but at least not freezing when I get the newspaper. Both of us are still under the weather but making improvements. Need to get better for cruise next week. Got to go to the grocery store and get some things as I have been using up what I have. I Feel like a Broken Record

It is still cold down here. I hate it. Don't feel like doing anything. Really aggravating. Don is feeling better. I don't feel good but I am not really sick either. Kind of hard to explain. So not much to blog about today and I am sick of complaining about the weather. Love to all. I am sure that my mood will improve when the temperatures go up.

Change in Plans

Due to the inclement weather we are postponing our trip to Orlando. We will watch the temps at the end of the week. Both of us are feeling under the weather and are deciding to rest. Love to all. More later

40 Degrees More

Just when you thought that it could not get worse, it does. This morning it is very cold (at least in my world). It is about 40 degrees right now. Tonight is supposed to be even colder.
We are going up to Orlando today and confirm Jenny's reservation. Happy Birthday to my brother Rick (in case you read this). More later if my fingers still work.

10 Degrees more and it would be perfect

It is a bright sunny day but needs to be 10degrees warmer for perfection. Need to do some yard work but don't want "Frost Bite" lol Don feels better today and I am so glad. We scoped out a trip about 37 miles from here and it has copious caches. Maybe next week if the weather permits. We also made some travel bugs today. One was a memory stick and we called it "Thanks for the Memory" and the other was a watch that used to hang on a chain. IT HAS NOT WORKED FOR MANY MANY YEARS. We called it "Time-Less" When we attached the travelbug to it, it started working. Pretty eerie!!! We will place them soon.
We are going to Orlando tomorrow to confirm Jenny's reservations for the hotel and we are going to see Jason. We will go to property control and maybe do some virtuals at the parks. We are very surprised that there are some in the parks. Cold air is arriving tonight again . Boy this has been a winter to remember for us. Miss Oreo is on my lap now and trying to get at my hands to scratch her instead of typing. Love to All who follow my ramblings.

Rainy Monday

It is rainy here today but it is okay because it doesn't happen very often. It is supposed to get cold here again tonight. Don finally went to the doctor today for his bronchitis. They put him on Cipro and Musinex DM. Oreo is happy we are home. She is always finding my lap when I sit down. Robbie and Elaine are home safely and they woke up to 2 inches of snow. UCHHY!!
Have been doing laundry and unpacking. Made chicken soup for Don's cold. More later
