Happy Wednesday Night to all who follow the ramblings of me: Had a wonderful day as we are getting the camper ready for our Disney trip. Just need to put some food in and clothing for the 4 days we are there. Went to Wally World today and picked up some things for the camper. Will do some more shopping tomorrow. Need to pick up things for Chris, Lynn and the Boys (Sam and Michael). Looking forward to meeting the little guys. It will be fun to see Disney through the eyes of little ones. We are going to take the video for Florence. Just finished watching Cash Cab and having a Gin and tonic and as always I ask "Who has it better than Me?" Love to all my pals got to make dinner.

Tuesday in Chobee

Good Morning to all and especially Dr. Sayman. We are so proud of you. Not much happening here today except getting hair cuts and preparing for Disney trip. It is coooler here today but it will warm up later. Will post more if something interesting happens today. lol love you all

Good Morning to my fans: We are home. We got here about midnight last night. Could not deal with one more night on a foreign mattress. lol My girl is a happy kitty as she likes our bed too. No Service No Blog

Good Afternoon All: There is no Sprint coverage at Robbie & Elaine's so I did not get the opportunity to blog after we got there. We delivered the bamboo. Robbie cooked ribs and potatoe salad and fresh fried okra. It was delish. We made it a short stay there as we have things to do at home before Lynn's visit next week. We are right now traveling through Atlanta on 75S. We stopped at Cracker Barrell for Brunch. We are so good that Don found a cache but we don't know the number of it. I found the owner's e-mail so I sent them one and we will see what happens. Life is Good. Love to All

Good Morning to my readers: We are on the last leg of the GWN tour. I guess I can't call it that anymore. It now becomes the GSS Tour. (Great Suuny South) lol

Right now we are traveling through Wytheville Va. We will be at Robbie and Elaine's this afternoon. Stayed in a Quality Inn last night. My body is crying for my mattress. lmao Soon I will be not having morning back aches. HA HA

Donna, Flo and Don will leave after Oct 12 as Flo wants to make pies and things with Pam's Girls on Columbus Day. Don is chomping at the bit to get to the GSS. It is a cloudy overcast day but that's okay I spoke too soon as the sun has come out. YEH Okay enough rambling about my rambling. Love to all

Bamboo Express Southbound

And a very good morning to the faithful followers of me: We are headed SOUTH yeh!!! We had a short but sweet GWN tour. We had a very nice visit with the Marino Family. It was good to see them especially Chloe and Victor. I was sorry that we didn't get more card games in but in a few weeks, Flo and Don will be back in Chobee and we can get back to normal.. The Marino's have a little tuxedo kitten that reminded me of how much I miss my girl but the Marino kitten travels well. I wish Miss Oreo would. Oh well that is her loss. We are headed for Elaine and Robbie's for a short visit as we have stuff to do in Chobee before Lyn's visit in October. Well I will close for now as I want to see what gamers are on POGO. Cloudy Tuesday

And a very very good morning to all my faithful readers: We are in Williamsport again after our whirlwind tour of NY. Today I am going to get paper plates from CA Reed and APPLES. :D Later we are going to visit Tom and Edie and the kids. Tomorrow we will be heading SOUTH. We will have a quick stop in Crossville and drop off Robbie's Bamboo and then it it FLA-USA or bust. I miss my girl, my bed and just everything in Okeechobee. Love to all More to follow.

The Sun Doth Shine

Good Morning to all the faithful: It is a beautiful fall day in the GWN. It is about 70 degrees and above and beyond THE SUN IS SHINING. We are going to Don's Reunion picnic in about an hour or so. We want to be fashionably late. lmao Yesterday we went caching and winery-ing. Found some new fruity wine that is delish. Went to Rand and Lori's for dinner last night and played dominoes. Tomorrow we are going to Buffalo and watching the GIANTS football game. Hope they clean Dallas's clock. lol Our visit to Canada is off as Kate had to go back to the ship earlier than expected. We will have to see her in Ft. Lauderdale. Found the Big Bang Season 2. Got nervous as Best Buy was sold out. Guess it is more popular than I thought. Went to Target and found 3 sets and bought them. Gave one to Rand and Lori as they like show and they are always so hospitable to us. Need to find some good apples and then my trip will be complete. I get a hunger for Apples at this time of year. STRANGE!!!!

Friday at Flo's

Good Morning to all: We finally arrived in Williamsport. It felt like 6 months getting here. Not used to cloudy, drippy weather. Today we are going off to do some geo-caching and visit a local winery. It is 48 degrees and Flo said that it is supposed to clear off by afternoon. It should be about 70. Also going to buy Big Bang Season 2 today. Okay enough chit chat, must shower Love to all

And a very good morning to all: Sorry that I missed blogging yesterday but I was tired and did not feel like it. Strange, I know but stranger things happen. Well the weather as usual does not let me down. It is cool (62) and drippy and cloudy. Oh what a wonderful place. Spent the night in Harrisonburg, Va. last night. We have about 5 hours and we will be at Flo's. Saw several haulers yesterday on 81 heading for Louden New Hampshire. We are just driving along and I will post more later. Love to all

On the Road Again

Good Afternoon to all of the faithful: If it is Tueday, it must be Belgium, no it's Daytona. lol We left this morning on our GWN Tour. Poor Oreo is on duty as Guard Kitty. I don't know how she puts up with us. I guess that is true love. It is weird to travel without the camper and not be going on a cruise. I am just so confused. But I have my coffee pot and beans so life will not be totally out of whack. The only thing missing will be our new mattress. What a spoiled brat I are. Will post again later. Looking for cool clouds but so far none. But I'm on the lookout. Love to all my pals and famiy too. lmao

Monday Night

GOOD EVENING ALL: I was busy today finishing up the plans for the GWN Tour. Don had Jury Duty and I had the day to get the house together and finish packing. We are leaving tomorrow morning and our first visit will be to Jenny in Charlotte on Wednesday morning. After that we will continue on to Flo's in Pa for the picnic on Saturday. Sunday we are going to Canada again to see Kate from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. We are having dinner with she and her parents. More on the itinerary as it progresses. I will be bogging from the road. Love to all

Went to the flea market and did not find sodoku books for Pam and Bruno but a lot of vendors are not there as season is early. Bought a case for my new phone, it is cool. More later love to all

Yard work and technology

Happy Saturday to all who find reading my stuff fun. Have been out in the front flower beds, preparing them for winter flowers. lol Then I decided to pick up the pine needles that laid in the driveway. I spent 4 hours outside. Tough work but someone has to do it. Mr. S and I finished cutting up the bamboo for Robbie. Now we are enjoying some relaxation. Donna, I found Bacardi has a bottled mojito that really isn't too bad. Not as good as the ship's but beggars can't be choosers. I like my new phone with blue tooth. Tomorrow I wil hit the flea market and see if I can find sodoku books for Pam and Bruno. Don and Flo have a nice time at Lynn's. See you soon. Getting ready for 500. Okay time for a quick nap and then I have to dig out some warm clothes for our trip to the GWN. Love to all

I humbly apologize for not blogging yesterday. I have no real idea why but all I can say is OOOOOOOOOPS. Am in the middle of preparing for our GWN Tour. Today is more of the same. So I thought I would blog early before the day goes away. Note: At some time today, all who read this, take a moment of silence and remember reverently 911. Got a very nice e-mail from my new friend in the Faroe Islands, (he bought the tuxedo shoes) and he says that he is moonwalking with the shoes. He likes them. Okay enough rambling. I have to finish weeding my front flower beds, get odds and ends from Wally World and oh I guess I should start out with breakfast. Donna, if you see this, let Katie know that a box is on the way, probably sometime next week. Hope she likes the stuff. Okay love to all more whenever.

Wacky Wednesday

Good Evening (I guess) Sorry but I have been busy like a bee today. Morning started out with getting our new box spring from RTG. It was a waste of fuel but you cannot fight the system. While I was waiting I decided to weed my front beds as I have been negligent in maintaining. I got most of the first one done and later or maybe tomorrow I will work on the rest. After the boxspring came, I took shower and we went to lunch. After lunch we checked out a new rv park and crystal mining place. It is not open yet but we might go up after the new bird season starts. When we got back, I puttered and started watching soaps. Our neighbor Jacob came over and asked Don to help him trim his trees around the garage with our alligator loper. I took ome pictures and of course I had to supervise and get involved. I love tree trimming. Now we are relaxing and blogging. Love to all (One of the pics is spider I thought was cool.)

Tuesday Afternoon

Good Afternoon All: Had kind of a busy and not busy day. Hard to explain. Went into the camper and made the bed. I call it "Bed Making Calisthethics (SP) . Going out on an adventure for dinner as we are trying to find out if "Pat's Country Side" restaurant is the same as "Pat's Lakeside" . Hopefully it is as she had the "Okeeburger" and it is a staple of Okeechobee. It's a tough job but someone has to do it. Talked to Florence today, cannot wait for them to be here so we can play "500" We wil see them when we come to the GWN and maybe get a game or two in. Getting the duct work in the attic changed as we didn't do it when we got the new AC. They are bringing another box spring for the bed tomorrow as it had a ding in it. They have to give me a new one so that the 20 year warranty is in place. I tried to get a rebate because it did not show but they have their rules. Watching Cash Cab, I hate the video bonus. The kids got the answer. WOW Enough rambling for today. Love to all

Labour Day 2009

Good Afternoon Everyone Everywhere: I feel like I have had 2 Sundays this weekend. I know I should be thankful but for old retired people, it makes little difference. It's not like we get an extra day off. lol Just treadmilled and then have to go to grocery store for some hot dogs and potatoes for potato salad. Going to have an impromptu picnic for this holiday. Thought for the day: No matter what you do today, enjoy it. Love to all

better late than never

I have been busy today doing I don't know what. I treadmilled for an hour today to the new music I downloaded from Itunes. It was really great. I need to find enough to last the 1/2 marathon. Gearing up for our GWN trip, can't wait to see Brominator!!! We will be going to Canada again to see Kate but this time we will go to her familie's house for dinner. She is going back to the ship on Sept 24th. Not too long after we get back, Lynn, Chris and the Boys will be here and we will be doing Disney with a new generation!!!! Okay enough for now, got to think about dinner. Love to all

Saturday Afternoon

Afternoon Update: Mr. S and I finished pressure washing the house. It is a great job for hot days as you get wet. I felt like a drowned rat or at least that is what Don called me. LMAO Finished just in time as the afternoon thunder boomer is passing through. I just took a hot shower and am now sitting here blogging. Time to rest. Watching the "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader" marathon. Okay enough for now. Love to All Donna,our thoughts are with you.

Good Morning All: As I am sitting here on the lanai, I am contemplating what fun to get into today. I think I will have Mr. S start my pressure washer and pressure wash the house. This kills two birds with one stone. My house gets washed and so do my windows. Then I think I will do some yard work. My front flower beds need to be weeded out. The weather is finally getting a little cooler. Mattress update: Don's energy level is still up 18.9%. lol Mine is off the charts. I feel like I always need to be doing something. Bought some new music on I-tunes for my walking on the treadmill. Will try it out later this afternoon. Okay got to go make breakfast and get busy. Love to all

Friday Evening

Sorry that this is so late but got busy. I need to do this before breakfast or I go off on tangents. We had another good night's sleep. Don is now up to 18.9% more energy. lmao Again seriously I feel so much more rested when I get up. Like anything, you get what you pay for. Lake is up to 14.2 feet as I saw the Okee News today. And a very good morning to all: Well it is here, My little piece of heaven called Tempurpedic. We are so glad not to have to sleep in the spare room any more. Oreo is glad too as she thinks it is her room. Rooms to Go is a really top notch organization and they do a really nice job with their delivery. Now we are getting ready to go to the post office to mail my e-bay sales. One package is going to Tennesee and one is going to Denmark. Don's cool tux shoes are going to Denmark. Good Morning to all: Boy has it been a busy August. The temps are down by a couple of degrees. Only the most seasoned Floridian would be able to feel the difference between 90 and 88. lol One more day and our new mattresss wil be here. Slept in the spare room last night in "Oreo's" Bed. She was out most of the night and came in about 5 am and jumped right up and cuddled with us. "Who has it better than her?" Today we are going to Home Depot to look for tubes that fit in the casters. Looking forward in the month, to our trip to Wpt. We are going to some wineries with Flo and Don. Looking for a good Pinot Grigio. Going to go to Canada and have dinner with Kate (our friend from Royal Caribbean). Love to all the Faithful Followers of ME.
