Hallalujah Hallalujah

Finally the weather is getting warm like I like it. The temp is 73 degrees. I gave the patio a once over and blew the leaves off the carport and part of the driveway. I don't quite understand it but I seem to get more done when I don't feel up to par. Hard to figure. Don is still coughing but hopefully on the road to recovery. Next week at this time we will be on the cruise ship Disney Wonder. We are watching qualifying for Daytona. Neither one of us can really get into it this year yet. Rand and Laurie are on the way. Should be here by Tuesday I guess. Well going to go take a shower and throw together some egg plant parmesan. Hope all are warm, well and happy. Love to all.

Finally

It is finally warming up in frigid Florida. Not quite enough to go outside and do lawn work but at least not freezing when I get the newspaper. Both of us are still under the weather but making improvements. Need to get better for cruise next week. Got to go to the grocery store and get some things as I have been using up what I have. I Feel like a Broken Record

It is still cold down here. I hate it. Don't feel like doing anything. Really aggravating. Don is feeling better. I don't feel good but I am not really sick either. Kind of hard to explain. So not much to blog about today and I am sick of complaining about the weather. Love to all. I am sure that my mood will improve when the temperatures go up.

Change in Plans

Due to the inclement weather we are postponing our trip to Orlando. We will watch the temps at the end of the week. Both of us are feeling under the weather and are deciding to rest. Love to all. More later

40 Degrees More

Just when you thought that it could not get worse, it does. This morning it is very cold (at least in my world). It is about 40 degrees right now. Tonight is supposed to be even colder.
We are going up to Orlando today and confirm Jenny's reservation. Happy Birthday to my brother Rick (in case you read this). More later if my fingers still work.

10 Degrees more and it would be perfect

It is a bright sunny day but needs to be 10degrees warmer for perfection. Need to do some yard work but don't want "Frost Bite" lol Don feels better today and I am so glad. We scoped out a trip about 37 miles from here and it has copious caches. Maybe next week if the weather permits. We also made some travel bugs today. One was a memory stick and we called it "Thanks for the Memory" and the other was a watch that used to hang on a chain. IT HAS NOT WORKED FOR MANY MANY YEARS. We called it "Time-Less" When we attached the travelbug to it, it started working. Pretty eerie!!! We will place them soon.
We are going to Orlando tomorrow to confirm Jenny's reservations for the hotel and we are going to see Jason. We will go to property control and maybe do some virtuals at the parks. We are very surprised that there are some in the parks. Cold air is arriving tonight again . Boy this has been a winter to remember for us. Miss Oreo is on my lap now and trying to get at my hands to scratch her instead of typing. Love to All who follow my ramblings.

Rainy Monday

It is rainy here today but it is okay because it doesn't happen very often. It is supposed to get cold here again tonight. Don finally went to the doctor today for his bronchitis. They put him on Cipro and Musinex DM. Oreo is happy we are home. She is always finding my lap when I sit down. Robbie and Elaine are home safely and they woke up to 2 inches of snow. UCHHY!!
Have been doing laundry and unpacking. Made chicken soup for Don's cold. More later
