Monday in Okeechobee

It is Monday and we are getting ready for our trip to Lowe's Motor Speedway for the race. Bro, I left my phone in the camper and was too lazy to bring it in. We got the picture of Ricky. It is nice. Saw your blog and look forward to reading your posts. Going to get pool supplies, groceries and check out Flo's house.
We are starting our new lifestyle program. It is EL! EM! (EAT LESS) (EXERCISE MORE) Will post more about it as days go by. Oreo is happy and staying close to us. More later!

Sunday at Home

Good Morning We are home and Oreo is happy. This will be a quick post as I am trying to get back together. Camper is unloaded and being readied for next week.

Finally Back in Range

Hi We are finally out of the mountains and back in coverage area. We got to Robbie and Elaine's house Wednesday afternoon. Elaine was at the store and Robbie was at Lowe's hardware. He was working on one of his amazing projects. The man is a genius. We visited for a while. Don and I wanted to shoot our pistols and we figured this would be the perfect op as their house backs up to woods and more mountains. I have only shot mine twice and needed to become a little more familiar with it. All went well but I need more target practice but the positive thing is I didn't shoot myself or anyone near and dear. The other thing is that if your bigger than a plastic pot and you want to harm me or mine, you will be sorry.
Sarah would be so proud!!!
Elaine came home and we went out for dinner.
Thursday, we took a Tennessee Lake Trip and went Goodwilling!!! I had a good time and found a few things I didn't know I needed.

Ball of Twine

I need to explain the picture posted earlier. It is my favorite spot. It is the largest
ball of twine in Cawker City, Kansas. Last night our site was #28.

Heading South

All is well with the world we had fresh ground, fresh brewed coffee this morning and I am sitting on my heated seat riding down 81S heading for our visit with Robbie and Elaine. We stayed in the Wytheville, Va. KOA. Ate our Italian leftovers. My next purchase is a blowdryer as mine burned up in my hand. This trip was rough on small appliances. lol Enough rambling, more later.

Southward Bound

It is about 48 degrees and we are heading this Dodge Ram truck south. The temps are too cool for this Florida Body.
Don Waltz cooked us oatmeal with raisins and it is just the best. I don't know what his secret is but my oatmeal never tastes as good. I will have to watch him the next time and learn his secrets.
We will head the truck to Tenn. and Robbie and Elaine's house. I liked it better when I just walked across the yard to see them. Oh well. Y.ou never know what you have until you don't have it anymore.
Still on my quest for coffee pot. I shall overcome!!!! Yesterday's blog has a picture of Ammanda, my bestest granddaughter. Today I will post a pic of my bestest brother and bestester husband. I am starting a new language. lol

Traveling Back to Williamsport

Hi to all who read this. We left Buffalo at 0 dark 30. Tom had to go to work and we got on the road before the sun came up. It's nice to see how the other half lives. We just had breakfast in Greigsville, NY. We will stay in Williamsport tonight and head for Tenn. Tuesday. I have orders that I must have a new coffee pot before the sun goes down. There is a lot of ground fog and the temperature is 46. It was 39. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Good Morning All: It is Sunday morning and we are going to Tom's in Buffalo to watch the GIANTS football game. Had a wonderful visit with my brother, Rick.
All visits are too short. Learned to play video with Dakoda. Really cool. Time for coffee so more later. Donna hope your trip to Chicago was good.

front porch. Ammanda is practicing with her flags for color-guard. My brother is on his way for our visit. Battery on lap top is going so more later.

Friday

Good Morning to all who follow my travels. We are still in LeRoy. Having a great time visiting with the family. Weather is cool but the sun is shining. About 70 degrees today. Went with Dakoda to get a hair cut. School pictures next week.
Still on my quest for a new coffee pot. Allan made the best stuffed chicken breasts for dinner last night. Going out for a real fish fry tonight!!!

I'm Still Gadding About

It is colder than I would have liked it to be. It is 84 in Okeechobee and 56 here. You make the call!!! Took Ammanda to Marketplace Mall with Don. We got most of what we went for except my new coffee pot. Oh well I will drink tea! More later.

Tuesday

It is a very pretty day today. The sun is shining and it is very cool. At least cool to a Floridian. Went shopping with Teri for Dakoda. Teri got tired but she is doing good. Don and I are taking Ammanda today after school and we are going shopping. More later.

Monday

We are in LeRoy at Teri's. It is a little gray and cloudy today. It was very very windy last night. Part of Hurricane Ike. Need to get a new coffee pot today. Going shopping with kids tonight after school. More later!

Traveling in Truck to LeRoy

It is Sunday AM and we just left Williamsport and we are LeRoy bound. Dakoda we are on the way!!!! It's weird, the phone doesn't work but the air card does. Oh well. Lots of construction, one day this will be finished. See Ya All in a few hours.

Reunion

We went to Don's reunion tonight at the Genetti Hotel. It was a nice event. Dinner was good and I won the centerpiece off the table. Almost won the cd player 1 number off. Oh well you can't win em all. lol Tomorrow we head for LeRoy and a visit with kids and grandkids and brother. Good nite

Saturday Happenings

Happy Saturday! We went caching in the rain yesterday and it was fun even though soggy. Florence and Don are getting into this now. We signed them up on the site. We are going out again today for a couple more. The ones yesterday were very cool. There is a really neat mural downtown. When Don loads pics into my computer I will download some. Tonight is the reunion dinner and tomorrow we leave for LeRoy. More later

It is a lovely rainy day in Williamsport. Pam is coming to town for a conference.
We are going to the Sheraton to see her. Have a plan to do a couple of caches down town and get an apricot beer at the BullFrog Brewery. Got to go watch GH. More later.

It is pretty chilly here this morning. 55 degrees Body shudders at the thought. Having coffee and planning day. The four of us are going caching up on the walking trail today. Caching and exercise. Life is good. Later we are going to play cards. More later.

Good Morning It is Wednesday am and thought I'd blog early. We are going shopping to find DW (Don Waltz) a new computer. And then we are going to Hootenanny for a while. For those who don't know about Hootenanny, it used to be held at the Antler's Club. It is a group of seasoned citizens who play musical instruments and entertain other seasoned citizens who dance and shake a leg. Great fun is had by one and all. Off for my day hope yours is wonderful too.

South Forty Resort

Well we have stopped for the night at what used to be a KOA and now is called "South Forty Resort" Nice place. It used to have a nice italian restaurant by it but they were closed for renovations. Bummer I have to cook!!!! Speaking of which I have to get busy. More in the AM. Good Night

Happy Monday

Good Morning all: We stayed at "The Oaks" campground last night in Yemassee, SC. Nice campground. Had satellite and a great shower room. Can life get any better??? We have been on the road since 10:00 A.M. Heading for someplace in Virginia for the night. It is just too cool to be able to blog on the road. Time to read my book "New Moon". Ordered the other two books from the series. They will be waiting for me when I get home. Miss my kitty!!!!!

I am on 95N now and blogging away. Life is good, except for my poor kitty. She wasn't very thrilled this morning. We are going to listen to the Richmond Nascar race on the computer with our Track Pass. It sure sucks to be us!!!! Stay tuned for our further adventures.

Oreo( the hunter)

I just had to share this with those who read this. The sweet little cat pictured sleeping is really a tiger at heart. I was sitting in the living room watching the Giants football game when I heard a weird meow(real loud and different). I went to the front door and there she stands with a lizard in her mouth. She proudly brought it in the house(to show me). Just what I wanted. She played with it until it was half dead. Then she eats the tail. Must be a kitty delicacy. oooooooooooooo
Now she is out hunting for more!!!! Bye

Thursday Post

We are waiting to see what Hurricane IKE is going to do. Still plodding along getting ready for trip.
We saw Mama Mia yesterday and it was as good as the first time. We went to the election office and change our party affiliation back to republican. GOING TO CAST MY VOTE FOR MCCAIN/PALIN.

Crazy Husband

I am sitting on the patio, listening to my CRAZY husband talking to Teri. He has such a strange sense of humour. Going to see MAMA MIA today again. Saw it in San Antonio and it was so good that we are going again. Have no expectations about getting anything done today. It hasn't worked making any plans so we'll see how it goes.

Tuesday in Chobee

Well much like yesterday, I was going to clean the patio and guess what I got side tracked. I needed to find my broom, which led to sweeping the carport roof and the roof around the screen room as there was still debris from TS Fay. These storms are god's way of cleaning out the junk in my trees. After that I had thrown the debris on the ground and raked it up and put it in barrels. After that I picked up and put away things that might blow away in strong winds. Later I am going to finally clean up the patio.
We think that we will probably leave for the trip on Sunday or Monday. More later!!!

Happy September 1st

I just thought I'd post a quickie. Had plans to clean the patio but went off on a tangent and dusted the paneling in the Pool Table Room. Fancy that!!!
