Home Again

We are home again. Back to my fast internet and reality. Florence put some bean soup and cookies in the house so I don't have to think about lunch but reality and cooking will be back soon. Oreo is glad we are home. She is on her pillow. Just heard her meow, and she was watching squirrels out the window. Well need to unpack and do laundry. Teri, I am glad your boots and sneakers came, I thought about that in the middle of the ocean. lol More later. Love to all

Final Day

Today we were at Castaway Cay. We went in and took a walk to Serenity Bay. We had a bite of lunch and then came back to the ship. We watched the soaps and took a nap. We went to the movies on the ship and saw Bedtime Stories. Cute movie. We had our final dinner tonight. I will be so glad to get back to one course and one set of silver ware. Tomorrow we will be back in the real world. More later Love to all.

Day at Sea

Today was a quiet day at sea. We went to Palo's for Brunch with Robbie and Elaine. It was really nice. We went and saw Disney Dreams twice. The Matinee at 2 pm and our regular show at 6:15. Love that show. Tomorrow we will be at the private island at Castaway Cay. Soon it will be back to normal life. Love to all

Buenos Noches from Cozumel

We just pulled up anchor and are leaving Cozumel. It was a pretty day in Mexico. We found a cache and a travel bug to bring back and go through all the states. Had our traditional margarita at Pancho's. Tonight is Pirate Party night and fireworks off the smoke stack. All is well and we love you all.

Grand Caymans

We are in Grand Caymans as we speak. Yesterday was a sea day and very laid back. Did not do much but eat sleep and enjoy the shows. Today we had an exotic rasul at the spa. I love it. Makes my skin feel so soft. Went into Caymans and found a virtual cache. Time for a nap

Key West II

We walked to a park in town and found a virtual cache. Neat little park. Walked to the Blonde Giraffe to find key lime jelly beans but they were out of them. BUMMER Came back to the ship and ordered room service for lunch and took a nap. I am sitting on the veranda now and watching the people coming back to the ship. It is such a crisp clear day. About 70 degrees. That's alot better than a few days ago. We sail at 7:30 PM for a day at sea before we get to Caymans. Hopefully the ship's internet will be good, who knows. We saw our friend the waiter Donegal Toney. He and Gloria stayed with us for a weekend in St. Cloud before they flew home for their vacations. He to St. Vincent and she went back to South Africa. Nice to see old friends.

Key West

We are in Key West today. Going to get off and do some caches and get Key Lime Jelly Beans!! All is well. We went to Palo's last night for dinner. It is very nice. More later as we don't leave Key West until 7:30 P.M. Love to All

Zero Hour Arrives

Things are all packed and ready for tomorrow's departure. Just the last minute odds and ends. I am taking my laptop and air card and will blog and post photos tomorrow and Sunday. After that I don't know about the ship's internet but will try. Love to all and wish you were here.

Global Warming my A--!!!

It is down right cold down here. 30 degrees this am. I am calling the governor today and complain. This is not what we live in Florida for. LOL It is almost cruise time. I am almost finished with the packing. I am going to do the hanging bags either this afternoon or tomorrow am. Talked to Robbie and Elaine this am, they are excited too. Don is going to get a hair cut today and I will put his mickeys in this afternoon. Pics to follow. More later

Been Too Busy

Sorry I have not blogged in a few days as I have been busy getting ready for Saturday's Cruise. Got a hair cut yesterday and today so far I have been getting clothes ready. Probably I will have enough for both cruises. Jacob got another new puppy. He loves puppies. Don is still getting over his cold. We are going to LaBelle tomorrow to see Walt and Wendy from Charlotte who are down visiting Butch and Elaine. It is supposed to get really cold here tonight. Wear Shoes

Got the suitcases out today and placed them on the pool table. Will pack a little every day.
The title of my blog is referring to treadmilling without shoes. "DON"T" Last night after Flo and Don left I wanted to see how my new ipod and music I downloaded from itunes would be for my exercise program. I was too lazy or stupid to put shoes on and I figured it can't hurt, so I treadmilled for 20 mins. The new music is great but the funky blister on the bottom of my foot, not so much. So a word to the wise "cover your sole with shoes". Watching Barrett Jackson Auction. I want to go and bid on some of the cars when I win the powerball lottery and have "stupid" money. LMAO Love to all and stay safe and warm.

Shopping at Vero

Went to Indian River Mall. Bought some clothes for the cruise. New Black Pants, a pair of white pants and a pair of black dressy clam diggers. I also bought a couple of new tops. Went to Best Buy and bought an arm band for my nano. I made chili last night and Don and Flo stayed for dinner. Going to relax tonight and get busy packing tomorrow. Hope all of my pals and family memebers are staying warm. Love to All!!!

Chilly Thursday

Things are chilly here today. We went to the Post Office to mail my other ipod to Teri so she can have it to exercise on the treadmill. Got some cough medicine for Don and my Florida Lottery Fantasy 5 tickets. Starting to figure out what I am taking on the cruise. Going shopping at Vero tomorrow with Florence. More later

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Did not blog yesterday as I was busy. Doing what exactly I cannot tell you. We played cards with Don & Flo and had a couple of cold ones. I am trying a taste test between Miller Chill and Bud Lite Lime. Right now I know that I favor Bud Lite Lime. lol Today I went grocery shopping and we are going out to dinner with Don & Flo. Signing up for the 2010 1/2 Marathon after I finish my blog. Love to all who live in the Frozen Tundra.

New Ipod

Got my new Nano today. It is almost the same color as this printing. I have been putting my music on it. Boy is it user friendly even I can do it. I bought Whitney Houston's song from the 84 Olympics "One Moment in Time" from itunes. I think this song will be great at the point in the 1/2 Marathon when you think you can't go any further and then you hear it and it is uplifting. I have listened to it about 10 times in a row tonight. CRAZY HUH. Went to Orlando today to pick Flo back up at the airport from the baptism. Next thing to tackle is the nike+

More Stuff from Today

After I blogged this am and did the dishes we decided to place some geo-caches of our own so we went to Taylor Creek Water Management Trail and placed one. It is about eight tenths of a mile to the picnic pavillion where we placed it and then an eighth of a mile back. I love it there and today was a perfect day. Bright blue sky and temps in 70's. The other one was down by Flo's lakeside estate at the beginning of the nature trail on the dike. Checked on Don who is a bachelor this weekend. He made goulash and made us take some home. Viola Lunch!! The other cache is near the house. We put them on-line and are now awaiting approval. Also made another travel bug of an F-14A Tomcat. If anyone who follows me reads this tonight. Go outside and look at the moon. It is some special moon tonight. Hope you can see it, it is cool. Took pic but doesn't do the real thing justice. Again Love to all my pals and family in the frozen tundra.

Furniture Moving

Sorry, got busy with furniture moving in the Living Room yesterday. I have this phobia that I cannot leave the furniture in the same place for too long, besides it is a good way to clean !!! lol Cruise happens in 2 weeks. Got to get busy with figuring out what to wear. You'd think I never cruised before. Talked to Elaine yesterday, she got her documents. Teri, glad that you are doing well and have your clients back. TAKE IT SLOW!! Hope Allen is feeling better. Cold here today. I know for all my Northern Pals and family, you think I am crazy but my body doesn't react well to temps below 60. Well time to make breakfast. Hearty Oatmeal for this COLD weather we are having. LMAO GOING TO WATCH MY GIANTS TOMORROW.

MCO

We got up at 0 dark 30 and went to MCO to take Flo for her fight to Connecticut for the twins'
baptism. On the way back with Don we stopped for breakfast at the Coffee Cup in St. Cloud.
Today is DW's Birthday. On the way back from there, we did 6 caches. We found 5 and one was archived and we did not know that. It was fun. Time for a nap more later. Forgot camera so I don't have any current photos Sorry Pals Love to all

Blogging

I started to blog yesterday but got side tracked. I moved my bedroom furniture around and did errands. Today I have to buy powerball tickets as Florida is now joining the lottery. The jackpot is $105 million. Keep thinking WIN!!!! Got to start planning what I am going to take on the cruise. Going with Don and Flo to take Flo to the Orlando Airport for her trip to the boys baptism in Connecticut. More later Love to All

LaBelle

We are down visiting Butch and Elaine at Labelle. We are going to do a few caches and probably do lunch. Walt and Wendy are coming on the 20th and we will come down again to visit. We forgot our camera so I can't take pics but will next week. I am in their front yard right now talking to them.

E-L-E-M

Good Morning all: Hope everyone is well and happy. Getting Operation E-L-E-M in full swing. (EAT LESS EXERCISE MORE) Found an exercise dvd (HIP HOP) I forgot I had and did the Body Jam part this am. It was fun and I worked up a sweat. Made a pact that if I don't lose 5 lbs before the cruise Jan 24, I am going to forego dessert at dinner. That doesn't seem like it should be too hard. Going to watch the Miami Dolphin-Ravens game. Hope it is not too hot for them as the temps are 80 degrees and sunny. No geo-caching planned today. Got to start thinking about cruise packing and buying. Going to go to the mall about a week beofre the cruise and buy some essentials. Trying the 2 color approach. I'll see how that works. Quiet Saturday

There has been 3 weekends this week with the holidays. Had a quiet day. Went back to the cache where we dropped Florida Fran and got her id number for the log. Did not look for any more gators. Watched football and caught up on Lipstick Jungle. I forgot it was on last night so I watched it on the computer More tomorrow

Baby Sitting

I just wanted to show you all what I am doing this afternoon. Our neighbor Jacob got himself a new puppy and we offered to puppy-sit. He is 8 weeks old and weighs about 20 lbs. Not exactly sure what the breed is but he is pure bred. Going to be a big big dog when he grows up. Before that we went caching with Flo and Don down to the Taylor Creek Water Management area across from Eckerd Developmental School. That is an interesting place We saw some interesting wild life.

see pics. Then Flo and I went to Dollar Tree and got some more things for the cache bag. A first aid kit and some gloves for bush wacking and digging in the brush.

Day 2 of a Great Year

Thanks for giving me something that is worthwhile reading in the morning. I do my jumble puzzle and then read blogs. Far better than all the crap you read in the paper. Miss Oreo is out for her 4th time this morning. I think it is a game we play. She comes in, gets a bite and then goes out again. This goes on many times in the am and then she finally settles down for her morning snooze. Finishing up my morning coffee, watching Millionaire and then going to do my new yoga dvd. Want to invest 20 minutes in the hope that I can increase my lifespan as I have much more living to do. Might do some caching with Don and Flo later. Time to go twist my body into a pretzel. Isn't that a pretty picture!!! lol

First Cache 2009

We just got back from caching. We got a good walk out of it. Again I am seeing places I did not know existed. Flo is bringing dinner over later. Beth. a full marathon would be good!!!

2009

Thanks to all of you who are blogging again. I love it. It is the way to start the day. I am happy that I know what you all are doing. Ordered a Tinkerbell Green 8 GB Ipod Nano and sports pack for getting prepped for the 2010 marathon. Beth we can plan for the 2013 1/2 marathon after we finish this one!!! LOL HAPPY ANNIVERSARY More Later after we get back from a few caches. Got to be back to watch Penn State and have our New Years Sauerkraut and Pork. Love Ya
