Hi Again

I did not mean to make anyone feel bad about not blogging but I was glad to see Grammy Flo's blog with pics of the boys. In case. anyone is wondering E-L-E-M stands for: EAT LESS EXERCISE MORE. It is not a diet. The word diet is negative and denotes that you are going to do this for just a period of time. My plan I hope is the ELEM PLAN FOREVER!!!!! Just in case any one wondered. I am now the calorie nazi!! LOL Don is helping Jacob with his sprinklers and I am about to cook our dinner. Until tomorrow Love to all. Flo, those boys are adorable and of course so are the girls.

Happy May 30th to my fans: We are blogging in stereo. D is and I am but seeing as I don't have anyone here, I have to take photo myself. Brother, I am glad you blogged. I enjoy reading other folk's blogs. "HINT HINT" to anyone who has blogged in the past but hasn't in a while!!!!!We are going to do a few errands and I will treadmill after breakfast to feed my addiction. Hump Day

Good Good Morning to anyone who reads the stuff I write. Had a really great day yesterday that started off in a cemetery. "WHY", you may be asking yourself right now. Well, I will tell you. Don discovered a "Mystery ?" cache in Fort Drum. It turned out to be in the Fort Drum Cemetery. It was really a neat place. There were a lot of old gravesites that were interesting. Today we are going to go and see if we can find a part for my pressure washer. I want to pressure wash the house. 30 days til the cruise. It's looking good for the RED DRESS!!!!! LOVE YOU ALL

Good Morning Hope all are well. We went to the Orlando area yesterday for a checkup for Don with Dr. Young. By the time we got back I didn't have time to blog. We went to a restaurant near the Dr's office and had a roast beef pannini. It was delicious. With this new plan E-L-E-M, food tastes better. Going to spend the day "SPRING CLEANING". Life is good . KEEP ON WASHING HANDS THOROUGHLY' It is the message of the day. LOVE TO ALL.

Sunday's Adventure

Hi to All: I wasn't going to do anything with my sensor and nano today but dear hubby found a new cache down by the dyke. You cannot walk on the dyke and not use your technology stuff. It really was a nice cache. It was an ammo box full of goodies. Ghanged my little purple alter egos clothes today. Going to take a shower and then make lunch. ELEM Lives!!!! Love to all.

Saturday in Chobee

Good Afternoon to all: We started out our morning after coffee with a walk at the Taylor Creek Water management area. To DW, Don rode your bike down to a cache and put a couple of pens in it as it was lacking them and signed to log book. He brought the bike back and put it in the truck and turned on his Nike+ sensor and we walked to the area where we had left a cache and never activated it but it was gone. Oh well. I finished my workout and Tiger Woods told me I did an awesome job. I joined a 100+ mile challenge. Have to go make Don and I an egg and a piece of turkey bacon. ELEM is still the key for me!!!!! Lots of love to all

Thursday in Vero

We took a trip to Vero Beach to get a Directv box for our neighbor. We also needed some new walking shoes . I bought some things at Penney's and had lunch in the mall at SubWay. We had the sweet onion chicken teri yaki sub and it was absolutely delicious. I have never been a big fan of SubWay but I might have to start. More tomorrow. Love to all

We're Back from Adventure

We went up to Taylor Creek water management area for a walk and a cache. It was pretty warm for a fast walk so we walked a little slower. We forgot to take a pen but will take one back the next time we are there. Time for my soaps Love To All again

Cleaning the Patio

Good Afternoon to my fans: I spent the am on the patio cleaning. My pressure washer took a fit and would not work properly so being the inventive soul I am, I used my hose and sprayer attachment. Not quite as good as the pressure washer but one does not let a little thing like persnickity equipment stop them. All went welll until I moved my pool cover roller and managed to get a wound. But I won the war. Don and I are going geo-caching this afternoon as I need powerball tickets so we are killing two birds with one stone. Donna and Rick we are lining up a bunch for your visit. Okay enough for now. LOVE TO ALL

Good Will Trip

Took today off from raking and we went on a trip around the lake and hit the Goodwill's. It was fun, I was looking for some stuff for the cruise. I found a couple of cute pairs of tropical capris. I also bought a book I already have. WHAT A DODO!!! Tomorrow I am going to clean the patio with the pressure washer. Operation ELEM is doing well and I still have more energy than I thought I would. I believe that over-eating and eating the wrong stuff slows you down and makes you lethargic. Good night to all. Love you all.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

We had a really busy weekend. We fasted on liquids this weekend and it was absolutely amazing I had more energy than I could ever imagine. I could feel it in my back that my body was calling for carbohydrates but I told it to take them from some of the stored FAT I have accumulated in various parts of my body. I think it is mind over matter. We also did a 2 mile walk on the dyke. We had some sensor problems with Don's nike+. It wasn't linked but he won the battle with it. Mine was good today and I managed a 15' 49" for a while. Now I have to work on it for a long duration. I am beginning to feel like I might jog walk. The jury is still out on that one though. I am getting my yard cleaned up and I discovered that the new Toro machine will be okay when it is just leaves but for sticks and debris and leaves, the old fashioned manual way is the way to go. Lovely Oak Hammock

Bought a new toy to play with my leaves in the yard. It is a Toro Ultra Blower/Vac. Spent yesterday afternoon out in the yard working on the leaves. Going out and work a little today. Weather is nice for doing this. Not much else is happening. Just waiting for the May cruise with Rick and Donna. Life is Good. Don and Flo wish you were here to play cards. Happy Mini

I guess I finally figured out that my mini needs to be doing simething pretty regularly in order to stay focused. I guess that my alter ego is good for me. Butch and Elaine left yesterday and are stopping in Bristol Tenn to see their friends from Texas. Seems funny around here without them. Went to the Lakeside Estate today to walk on the dike as it was cooler today. Had a really good walk and I think I will be trying to do a jog-walk session. Need to pare a minute and 24 seconds off to achieve my 16 minute goal for the 1/2 marathon next January. I am planning ahead to do well. Well have to shower now. Love to all!!!

Tuesday in Chobee

Good Morning All: Spent the day yesterday cleaning and moving my living room furniture around. Don and Butch were up on the roof fixing the solar panels for the pool heater. Soon I can add pool exercise to my ELEM plan. Butch and Elaine are coming over for breakfast. More on my wild life later. Love to all

HAPPY EASTER

Good morning to all and happy easter. I blogged yesterday but I don't quite know where it went. We went to Barrett-Jackson Auction in West Palm. It was fun and eye-opening at the same time. The cars are much more awesome on the speed tv transmission than they are in person. Also they only had one 57 chevy convertible and it was red. I would someday like a blue one so I let Rick Hendricks buy it. LOL At least I can now say I went. Kind of a quiet day here in beautiful chobee. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Love to all.

What Do I need to Do

I don't know what I need to do to get my mini more motivated. I have been doing a couple of short walks but she still is lethargic. I guess she needs geritol. lol Well at least she keeps me exercising. Going to relax a little as we are going to Barrett Jackson Auction tomorrow. Should be a pretty good day. I have to apologise to all of the faithful followers of me but I have been busy doing I don't know what but before I know it the day is over. I am in super PUTTER mode. We are going to West Palm Beach on Saturday and going to the Barrett-Jackson Auction. I am soooooo excited. Butch and Elaine are going to stay alittle bit longer as the weather up north still sucks. So we are all going to WPB. We are goiung to Golden Corral for Easter Dinner. Happy Easter to all if I don't get to blog again before the holiday. Miss Flo and Don, feel the need for 500. Technology SUCKS

I now understand how freakin aggravated Marybeth got with her mini me. I don't understand why that damn thing does what it does. I sometimes think it is more aggravation than it is worth. I did a 5k walk this afternoon and it is in my nano but did not download or upload to Nike+. Before I got this thing I would have been happy to have done it and that would have been it but no, I now feel like it went down the drain even though it did good for my body. GO FIGURE!!! The thing that peeves me off most is that it would have put me over my 30 mile goal and I beat my last 5k by about 5 minutes. All of which should make me ecstatic not aggravated. Technology SUCKS

Sunday's Adventures

Happy April 5th to all. Seems like I am in a perpetual putter mode. I wake up every morning and manage to spend all day doing few things. Yesterday Elaine and I went back to the 777's

video arcade. I did pretty well. Spent $8.00 and came out with a $25.00 gift card for Walmart. Not bad. Don is working at Disney tomorrow and Elaine (I believe) and I (I know) are going to drop him off and go to Ikea, Sam's and maybe Bealls up in Orlando. Well better sign off for now as I have an ant trail to kill and then I am going to treadmill. I am posting a picture of my girl. Doesn't she look comfortable?

Finally

Got on the treadmill today and did 20 mins but my mini is still lethargic. Guess I'll have to do more tomorrow and get her going. I need about 3 more miles for 30 miles. Cloudy here today, wish it would rain and get over with. Elaine is coming over for dinner. Raviolis and italian sausage. Butch made 509 miles yesterday. He hit a lot of rain. We (Don, Elaine and I)
went to the 777's to check out the video arcade. Elaine and I may go tomorrow and play a little. Don explains the inner workings of the slot machine to me so we are leaving him home.

April 2

Happy April Did not turn my computer on yesterday so I didn't blog. It has been a strange couple of days. I have been wanting to clean my patio for the last two days but other projects took precedence. There was a small leak under my kitchen sink and I had to take everything out and Don tightened the drain. Viola leak fixed but it took me all day to clean under there and then put everything back. Then today I had a doctor appointment for my back and all is well. I am healing nicely. I go back in six weeks and we will then decide when to remove the cyst. Then I was making tea and found some insect critters in my tea cupboard and spent quite a bit of time spraying for this tiny little critters. They are not little ants but very little like them. I don't like them. The one good thing is that Doctor said I can treadmill again. My poor little mini is so lethargic. Butch left today for Ontario to drive his cadillac up there. Elaine is here and we are really enjoying the visit. Butch is flying down Tuesday April 7. We are going to check out another video arcade tomorrow. yeh!!! The Diet Nazi will be returning for another engagement in our house. I am going to trim some off before May 30.
