Happy Halloween to all: Just getting around and wanted to say good morning to all. We are going down to Don & Flo's after lunch and either play cards or dominoes. Probably will go do a couple of caches. Later we will go to the Moose for catfish. More later

Geocaching with Don, Don and Flo

We went to Don and Flo's for oatmeal this morning. After breakfast, we went to redo all the caches that we found earlier in the season before they got here. We did about 12 caches. Am tired, it was cool and all that fresh air and sunshine. Then we went back to Flo's again for soup and tomatoes. We are vegging now watching the soap operas. Cat wants to sit on lap so have to go now more later

We had a really nice evening and day at Disney. We did a few things at Animal Kingdom and Epcot, but it was just too cool to stay for a long time. We got home about 4 p.m. It is cool today too. We voted today with early voting. Cannot wait til it is over. I am about sick of all the political ads. More later.

Hello from Wilderness Lodge at Disney. We are going to dinner at 7:30 p.m. Magic Kingdom has extra magic hours tonight so we might go over if it is not too cold out. More later

Beautiful Sunday in My World

It was the most glorious day today. It is the reason why we live in Florida. I worked in the yard and trimmed my bushes in front of the house. I love it when a plan comes together. We are going to Orlando tomorrow as Don has a doctor's appointment. We are going to IKEA and then stay at Wilderness Lodge and go to dinner at Artist's Point. We are going to go to Property Control and check out the parks as we haven't been there in a while. Ammanda had a tournament at the Carrier Dome with her school group and they came in first. YEHHHHHHHH!!! Good going Ammanda. We love you and are very proud. Rick called from OK and said he had a voice mail from Japan and Amber has arrived in Misawa and seems to be enjoying it. What a great opportunity for her. Got to go and pack a suitcase for our adventure. Will take puter and blog on the road. More tomorrow

Rainy Saturday

Hope all is well with my devout followers. We are going down to Flo's again and have homemade vegetable soup and play cards. We were down earlier and I set Flo up with a blog.

500 or bust

Florence and Don are here. Yeh!!! We will be playing cards and dominoes. They came in last night about 6:30 p.m. I made turkey chili and they had dinner. Glad they are finally here. Love my new computer. More later.

Getting it done!

Sorry that I didn't post a blog yesterday but I was busy cleaning the driveway and today I pressure washed the patio. The weather is absolutely gorgeous. It is supposed to rain later this week. We got the vehicles detailed and they look beautiful. More later!!!

Cloudy Day

It looks like it might rain today. It is cloudy and gray. Got some errands to do and more organizing. Did take a few e-bay pictures and will hopefully list some junque today. Happy Birthday Donna. Hope you have a great day. I had a really great day. Went out for Mexican at La Frajita's. 364 days to the next one. Plan is to live every one to the fullest and not waste a minute.

It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Still playing with my new computer. She is a beauty and big. Just finished breakfast and will spend some time today putting some junque on E-Bay. Like my blog says , "Who has it better than Me!!!" More news later.

New Computer

I am blogging this from my new computer that my wonderful husband gave me for my B-day. It is really nice and I was totally blown away as I anticipated a new coffee pot. It takes a lot to surprise me but he manages it nicely. I am posting a picture right away as it has a slot for the chip. How cool. More later!!!

What's Happening

Getting things reorganized and back in place for being home. Need to go grocery shopping and get water for cooler. I know it all sounds pretty boring but after being away it is heavenly to me. Donna, we ordered your present but it is backordered and will be arriving after 11/6/2008. Mailed a card to you today but will send you a real card later. lol Oreo is out hunting, she is getting back to as normal as she can be!!! Got to go to Army/Navy store and measure the ammo boxes for you bro and see about the camo sweatshirt. More later!!

Home Sweet Home

As I am typing this blog, I have a black and white kitty who can't get close enough to me. She slept between Don & I after she came back in about 3AM. She was on the roof checking things out until then. Well the truck is a truck again and the camper is stowed away for a few months. Getting caught up with laundry. Oh it is nice to be back home.

We are on the final leg of our journey. We stayed at the "Oaks" campground last night. They had stinky internet but had a great shower. I guess it's a fair trade off.
It is a partly sunny day so far. I have been in the north to long because I have a mean sinus headache. I need my humidity and sunshine. More later

Heading South

Good Morning to All who follow my travels:
It is a bright and sun shiny day and the temp is 70 degrees. We are heading away from Charlotte and heading for Okeechobee and my poor kitty. She will be as happy to see us as we are her.
The race was good last night. At least an RCR car won. Clint needed more laps for the 4 tires he put on to come to him. Glad I am not a crew chief and have to have fans like me second guessing what we do. Oh well! We are not coming to Charlotte next year, taking some time off from races.
The biggest part of coming to the races is the people we have made friends with over the years. We hope to see them on a cruise next year.
Don is feeling better, the antibiotic is good.
Took our travel bug Florida Fran, the flamingo to the race. She had a great time.
Will find a new home for her back in Sunny Fla.
We got our McCain/Palin bumper stickers. Cindy was at the race with Libby Dole. Sarah was inPennsylvania. GO SARAH!!!!!

Sunny Saturday

It is finally sunny outside. Can life get any better!!! I am a little tired today as the race didn't get over with til midnight. Just made the perfect camper breakfast. Pancakes and sausages. Going to take a walk up to the trailers today and at 4:30

Finally Friday

It's finally Friday. Weather is still cloudy but at least it is not raining. "YET"
Qualifying was rained out last night. Hopefully, the Nationwide will go on as planned. 30% chance of showers. We have a luncheon with the new GM of Lowe's
Motor Speedway today to talk about changes in the campground with the new ZMAX drag strip. More later!

Another Gray Day

Looks like it is going to be another gray day. Glad we won't be coming back next year. Weather north of home is not dependable. The news man on tv said that last year it was 90 degrees here. Not this year. Don is feeling better today, going to stay in and relax. We have Pole Night Tickets but depending on weather and how he feels we may give our tickets to Robert & Shannon and I'll watch Grey's Anatomy. Gotta make breakfast. More later

It still sucks

The day got worse instead of better. It is pouring rain outside and they cancelled the World of Outlaws race. At least I'm getting my book finished and can start the third book. Brother, I found you a coozie. Hopefully weather will improve and can get back to T shirt trailers. More tomorrow!!!!

Too Many Gray Days

I have not blogged for a couple days as this weather sucks!!! Don has been under the weather with a bug and thanks to our wonderful doctor in Fla. and modern medicine, he is feeling better. We called from Charlotte to his office in Orlando, his office called a Walgreen's Pharmacy in Concord and bippity boppity boo we had a prescription for antibiotic. Isn't America a great country. GO SARAH! GO SARAH!
We are going over to the Dodge dealer and get the oil changed in the blue beast today. Then we will walk up to see our friend Jenny, who is giving us two tickets to the Dirt Track races tonight. Still on my mission for coozies and stuff for my wonderful brother. More later I promise.

Good Freezin Morning to All: We are in Charlotte and it is chilly this am. We are going to Concord Mills Mall for a little economic stimulae today. We found a cache by the Speedway. So many changes here. They built a new drag strip and our space where we parked last year is a parking lot.

I Have Arrived

I have arrived at the Lowe's Motor Speedway. We have the camper off the truck and the truck is finally a pick-up again. We are watching the GIANT FOOTBALL GAME and also the Nascar race. Robert and Shannon from Georgia are here but will leave tonite and be back Wednesday. Bro, OMG , you are a poet and I didn't
know it!!! LOL We are supposed to have dinner with our friend, Jenny but not sure of the details yet. More later!!!

On the Road Again

After a week at home, we are on the road again. We are heading for Charlotte, NC. I am looking forward to a week at the races and flea marketing in Lexington and some NC bar-b-que. Poor Oreo was just getting comfortable with us being home and was not too happy with our leaving again. Mona(her original mother) is taking care of her so I know that she will be well taken care of. Brother, if you read this I didn't get to the Army/Navy store yet but will look at the flea market for Lawrence's new home and if I don't find it, will go see the guy at the store. And I will find some coozies (sp) More later!!!!

October

Sorry that I did not post anything on the first day of October. I have no idea why either. It is oh so pretty here today. Weather getting cooler, soon I will be able to whip open the windows and turn off the AC. Getting ready to leave for our week at Charlotte races. Well must go clean up kitchen and get ready for the rest of the day. Perhaps more later.
