OTD enjoying the first day of cruise.

Last Blog for August

Good Morning All: Well it is the last day of August and here is my last blog for the month. It is cloudy and gray.
The feeder bands for the storm Gustav are impacting us with this cloudy weather. Thats about all though. We are waiting for Hannah. She's not really looking like she will hit Florida directly but the feeder bands will be a lot of rain.
We are playing the trip to the north by ear. SEE YA IN SEPTEMBER!!!!!

I'm BACK The Final Chapter

Wednesday, we had reservations for Palo's Brunch. Again we had Zoran. I finally got to have a bellini. That is champagne with peach nectar. VERY NICE! I forgot an important part of our arriving at our cabin. My wonderful husband got us the Romance Package. It included 2 robes, a bottle of champagne, two goblets made of white chocolate with chocolate bon-bons inside and a travel ice bucket with tongs. I was really surprised. He's a sweetheart!!!
After brunch, we again went into the private island. It was a beautiful day for all the tourists.
We took the tram out to Serenity Bay. It was very hot and muggy so we did not stay very long.
Went back to ship and started to pack as tomorrow we would go back to reality. Did what I could and then sat on veranda and read my book. I really am enjoying this book.
Rachel sent Don a Magical Moments certificate for having the best Disney hair style. That was very nice. Our favorite show "DISNEY DREAMS" was wonderful tonight. No matter how many times I have seen it, it makes me cry.
You would think that with all the cruises we have been on, that it couldn't get better, but it does!!!!!

Well back to the things that make coming home great. Our 1000 count sheets and my own good coffee.
Keep following my blog as life is good and just keeps getting better.

I'm BACK Part 3

It stopped thundering and Oreo got off my lap for a minute or two so I can continue my saga.
Monday morning, we went to the spa for a rasul treatment. It is a treatment with a ginger-lime scrub type mud and a green mud to exfoliate and detox your body. After you scrub with the first mud you rinse off and apply the green mud, you sit in the steam room and it is all like aroma-therapy. Boy did our skin feel soft. We left there and took a walk on the private island. The weather was cloudy and it looked like rain so we had a bite of lunch and went back to the ship for a siesta. Later that afternoon we had our Castaway Club party. We got to see Rachel Quinn, the cruise director who we hadn't seen in 6 or 7 years. It was nice. Dinner was kind of ho hum as our tablemates were less than stellar. After we went to the movies to see Swing Vote. It was a good movie.

Tuesday, we went to Nassau, we took a tour to Atlantis. We were impressed with how much has been built since we were there last. While we were there, we did a geo-cache. I'm so glad we did as we saw a beautiful fountain that I doubt we would have seen otherwise. After caching, we went into the casino and we won $100.00 between the two of us on the 10 cent machines. We took the bus back to the ship and went back to cabin and ordered room service for lunch. After my soaps were over, we went off the ship as we did not leave Nassau until 7 P.M. We had two more caches marked in our GPS's One was in the Remembrance Garden at Parliment Square. It was a monument with plaques on it. Really nice!!!
The next one was the Governor's Mansion and getting there was quite an adventure. It you like small sidewalks and vehicles at your elbows, you'll love this one. But we did it. Now we are international geo-cachers.

I'm BACK Part 2

Took a little break. Loads of wash and Oreo Lovin.
Back to the cruise on the big blue sea.

We had our lifeboat drill and then took a little nap. After that we got ready for our dinner at Palo's. Palo's is the Northern Italian Specialty restaurant on the Disney Wonder. We had eaten there our last cruise and had a server named Michael. We requested Michael but he was busy with a large party. That turned out fine as we got Zoran. He was wonderful. I guess things turn out the way they should. Well it is thundering. Think I'll take a break and shut down. More later.

I'm BACK!!!

For all of the fans of this blog, your wait is over. I AM BACK!!!! This blog will be done in several stages as I have so much to let everyone who follows this blog know.
We started out the trip by going to a really cute motel in Cocoa Beach called FAWLTY TOWERS. This one had a Sybil, a Basil and a Manuella!! It was a really cute place, not far from the beach and by the Ron Jon Surf Shop. Finally got to see what all the billboards on 95 were for. We went to Captain J's for dinner. It is really a nice restaurant. Tried some GEOCACHING but it was not too successful. We will try later. Too many mugglers.

Sunday, we went to the cruise ship. We got there early. Had to wait in the terminal about 30 minutes. We boarded the ship and went to lunch and then to our cabin. We had a lovely balcony. By about 2 P.M. our luggage arrived and I got unpacked. THEN I CONSIDER MYSELF ON VACATION.

TS FAY Updates

Good Morning All Who Read My Ramblings: The TS has passed us but is still hanging on in Florida. Of all the storms, hurricanes and bad weather we have encountered in our living in Fla, Fay has been the
biggest pain as she is dumping a lot of rain and she is not moving quickly at all. Give me a blow in, blow out hurricane any day. I still love Florida anyway!!! Got to get hair cut today and finish packing for cruise. More later.

Watermelon Eating Cat

Sorry I did not blog yesterday but got busy caching. We did 6 more finds and had a ball. It is great fun, I like the ones that are in fields and trees. Need to get a walking stick and a machete (ha ha). One of the caches was at a fruit stand. We bought a watermelon and the three of us are having some. Oreo loves it and I never would have thought that a cat would like it. More later!

Oreo's Happy

We are finally home. Long day but once you cross the Florida border, you feel like you should make it home. Oreo was sitting on the roof and meowing like crazy. She then jumped onto the camper and down to the ground. We stopped for Chinese food in St Cloud and Don is sharing some with her Majesty. Doing a load of laundry and after the blog, we are hitting the sack. Good Night All.

Okeechobee Bound

Good Morning All. Don is now blogging too. Thanks Donna for bringing us into the 21st century. Getting
ready to head the car for Okeechobee. Oreo will be happy. More later.

Going Home Tomorrow

Well our stay in San Antonio is over. We are leaving for home tomorrow.Tonight we (Donna, Rick, Don and I) are back at the hotel drinking wine and thinking how proud of Airman Sayman, we are. Way to go Amber. This blogging stuff is fun

Starting to Journal My Gadding About

I am in San Antonio at my granddaughter's Air Force Boot Camp graduation. It was such an experience to see the transformation of this young lady. In May, she was a giddy girl and now she is a level headed young lady moving into a new and exciting facet of her life. Donna, thank you for the band aids and neosporin and the new adventure I am into with blogging.
