Happy Last Day of October

Good morning to all of the faithful followers of moi: My soup was very good. Think I will have some more today. My sinuses are draining like crazy. It must be oak dust season. Don't like it too much. Not much happening here. It is Football Sunday. Also will watch a little of the Talledega Race, even though I am boycotting it as Clint Bowyer is 2nd. I'm sure if he does too well Nascar will find a way to help the golden boy. Am going to watch and hope Dallas gets beat across the pond. lol Okay enough for now and you all know the drill.

Good Morning to all of the faithful followers of moi: All is well in the land of sunshine. No gubernatorial candidates to shake hands with this morning but did listen to the debate between Tom Marino and the other guy. It was on WVIA radio on the internet last night. I only wish I could vote for Tom in this election because he is the only candidate that I know that speaks the truth from his heart. Hopefully the voters of Pa and all over this great nation will get tired of the political rhetoric and take this country back. Okay I don't know where that came from but it is all true. Okay enough for now and you know the drill. As an added thing for this drill, get out and vote.

Pancakes in the Park

Good Morning to all of the faithful followers of moi: This morning we got up and went to a pancake breakfast in Flagler Park for Rick Scott, Republican candidate for governor. I got to shake hands with the whole Scott Family from Rick to his mother. There was a pretty nice crowd. Now we are home waiting for Don's Dr appointment this afternoon. All is going well. Good Evening to all of the followers of moi: We went to Magic Kingdom today to see the Air Force Thunderbirds fly over for Air Force Week.

Beware of Yowling Kitty

Good Afternoon to all of the faithful followers of moi: This morning I had a appointment scheduled with Shannon but she had a commercial structure fire and was not able to make our 8:30 AM appointment. My nails were in pretty rough shape so I could not extend the time and wait for her. I went up to ProNails and they had to remove my old acrylic so I thought why not go Pink and White for a change. I like it as I used to have DEE DEE in St. Cloud do it that way.

The title of my blog has a story which I will tell you.

There lives a black and white tuxedo cat named Oreo. She likes to catch geckos and then sit at the front door and yowl like she is dying. Of course, I hear this and race to the door and open it. In she trots with her catch and proceeds to drop it and play with it til either she kills it or it runs under something she cannot get under. Before this last one got away, she proceeds to eat its tail. Go figure. Tuna must be getting old. lol
Now as you will see in the pics, she is peacefully sleeping in her princess spot as it is hard work guarding the estate from the roof as she was this morning when I went to get newspaper. She is quite a girl.

Good Morning Sunshine

Good Morning to all of the faithful: When I woke up this morning, it was dark and it felt like it was much earlier than it was but it is fall and the time change will occur soon. But as I am sitting here writing my blog, the sun is adding a golden glow to the dining room. It is such a pretty world if only we take time to look at it. Things are pretty calm here today. The Yankees managed to win last night and I am keeping up the faith they will make the World Series. As an added note, we spoke with Donna last night to wish her a Happy Birthday and she said she was posting a blog about what Rick did for her B-Day. This morning I read the blog and it brought tears to our eyes for he did such a wonderful thing. Life is full of surprises and they make it all worthwhile. Okay enough rambling so you know the drill. Glorious October Day

Good Afternoon to all of the followers of moi: I have been outside doing some yard work and it is an absolutely beautiful day. I love yard work as you are out communing with nature and alone with your thoughts. Now I am in watching the Giants football. As I always say, "Who has it better than me"? Okay need to shower and put some stuff on EBAY. Love to all and you know the drill. Pictures are from cruise and the HIBISCUS is the plant we bought in Missouri when we had the Motorhome. Beautiful Day in Paradise

Good Morning (I have to do this quickly as there are 12 minutes to go before afternoon) Sorry I did not blog yesterday as I was busy. Today, it is an absolutely delightful day. I have been outside doing some of my yard work that it has been too hot to do before. Well need to get back to it. Love to all and you know the drill. Plumeria and Hibiscus that are blooming now. To all of the faithful followers of moi: Things have been very hectic down here. Sorry that I have not blogged. The cruise was wonderful and we saw lots of folks we know and met the captain and made a new friend. Clayton the cruise director was absolutely wonderful. In 23 cruises, we had never had him and now I hope we have him all the time. Tonight I made some skewers that I saw on cooking with Daisy Martinez. They were scallop and pineapple and shrimp and chourico sausage and mango. YUM YUM Okay more tomorrow I hope. Love to all and you know the drill.

We are back from the cruise and had a wonderful time. We met the newest captain in the Disney cruise family. Captain Marco. He is very nice. He sent us a bottle of wine to the table.

It's Cruise Day

Countdown to cruise

Good afternoon to all of the faithful followers of me: One more day til the cruise and with as busy as we have been, it will be a relaxing time. We went to MCO this morning at 0 dark 30 to meet Valerie and Bob from San Francisco. They will be on the January cruise through the Panama Canal. They were both very nice people. It will be a pleasure to be on the cruise with them. Everything is done but putting the hanging bags together. Okay love to all and you know the drill.
