Another Gray Day

Looks like it is going to be another gray day. Glad we won't be coming back next year. Weather north of home is not dependable. The news man on tv said that last year it was 90 degrees here. Not this year. Don is feeling better today, going to stay in and relax. We have Pole Night Tickets but depending on weather and how he feels we may give our tickets to Robert & Shannon and I'll watch Grey's Anatomy. Gotta make breakfast. More later

It still sucks

The day got worse instead of better. It is pouring rain outside and they cancelled the World of Outlaws race. At least I'm getting my book finished and can start the third book. Brother, I found you a coozie. Hopefully weather will improve and can get back to T shirt trailers. More tomorrow!!!!

Too Many Gray Days

I have not blogged for a couple days as this weather sucks!!! Don has been under the weather with a bug and thanks to our wonderful doctor in Fla. and modern medicine, he is feeling better. We called from Charlotte to his office in Orlando, his office called a Walgreen's Pharmacy in Concord and bippity boppity boo we had a prescription for antibiotic. Isn't America a great country. GO SARAH! GO SARAH!
We are going over to the Dodge dealer and get the oil changed in the blue beast today. Then we will walk up to see our friend Jenny, who is giving us two tickets to the Dirt Track races tonight. Still on my mission for coozies and stuff for my wonderful brother. More later I promise.

Good Freezin Morning to All: We are in Charlotte and it is chilly this am. We are going to Concord Mills Mall for a little economic stimulae today. We found a cache by the Speedway. So many changes here. They built a new drag strip and our space where we parked last year is a parking lot.
Bro, I am on the job looking for stuff. How was your soup?

I Have Arrived

I have arrived at the Lowe's Motor Speedway. We have the camper off the truck and the truck is finally a pick-up again. We are watching the GIANT FOOTBALL GAME and also the Nascar race. Robert and Shannon from Georgia are here but will leave tonite and be back Wednesday. Bro, OMG , you are a poet and I didn't
know it!!! LOL We are supposed to have dinner with our friend, Jenny but not sure of the details yet. More later!!!

On the Road Again

After a week at home, we are on the road again. We are heading for Charlotte, NC. I am looking forward to a week at the races and flea marketing in Lexington and some NC bar-b-que. Poor Oreo was just getting comfortable with us being home and was not too happy with our leaving again. Mona(her original mother) is taking care of her so I know that she will be well taken care of. Brother, if you read this I didn't get to the Army/Navy store yet but will look at the flea market for Lawrence's new home and if I don't find it, will go see the guy at the store. And I will find some coozies (sp) More later!!!!

October

Sorry that I did not post anything on the first day of October. I have no idea why either. It is oh so pretty here today. Weather getting cooler, soon I will be able to whip open the windows and turn off the AC. Getting ready to leave for our week at Charlotte races. Well must go clean up kitchen and get ready for the rest of the day. Perhaps more later.
