Happy New Year

Hi All This is just the first blog of my new years wishes for everyone. Yesterday afternoon we went to Don & Flo's for meatloaf. It was made with venison and pork. It was delish. After dinner we played a MARATHON game of 500. It was fun!!! But even I was glad when the last game was over. It took 15 hands to complete.

This morning I tinkered a bit and we discovered there was a cache on the dike where we stop on our walks. So we decided to check it out. We had no idea that one was there. We went down to Flo and Don's and took our walk and found our cache. After we stopped back at Flo's and chatted for a bit. They are coming over later for nibbles and a New Year's Toast.

Quick Good Morning

I am in "Tinker-Mode" today. Made a home for my new blender and can't wait to make some kickin margaritas. Going on some errands and if I don't get back today I will post my Happy New Year wishes tomorrow. Am really enjoying everyone who blogs blogs. I guess that is right!!! Love to All

Happy Monday. Went out and did some errands and my favorite job of grocery shopping. Needed everything. Well it is done now. Now I am de-christmasing the house. Also turning my junk room into a yoga room. Bought a yoga dvd and a yoga mat. Now I have to slowly turn myself into a pretzel. lol Well back to work more later

On the Road Again

We are back on 95 but it is 3 lane and not so bad today. Lots of traffic but more lanes for them to go in, For my memory we stayed at exit 49 in Darien Georgia and ate at Smokey Joe's Barbeque. We are 7 miles from FLA. YEH! Miss Oreo will be glad we are home I am sure. She will be joining us at the hip for a few days until she gets comfortable with us being home. What a poor girl. Too Much Traffic on 95

We are in a Quality Inn in Darien Georgia. The traffic was terrific. BUMPER TO BUMPER MILES AFTER MILE> We got disgusted and got off and followed parallel back roads. Saw some cool old houses and neighborhoods. Got to go across a bridge I have seen before from 95 but never knew where it was. I love bridges until I am on them(Especially the Brooklyn Bridge) Tomorrow we aren't getting on the beast of 95 but following 17.
I am blogging and eating gourmet truffles. Thanks, I will have to treadmill for hours. Thanks to every one who blogs again as I really enjoyed reading about your new computer and Mike finding some caches.
I already miss the critters especially SHADOW!!!

Heading South

Good Morning We are in the truck and heading for home from our wonderful christmas holiday. We had a wonderful time at Mike and MaryBeth's house. They have the best animals. Our intention is to drive all the way through because there is something wrong with sleeping in a hotel when you are in your own state. We planned a family cruise for March when Donna has her spring break. Also we are making plans for the 2010 1/2 Marathon at Disney. Got to bet busy training. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and hope all my pals and family have a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
