Sun-less Sunday

Good evening to all of the faithful: It has been a cloudy and sun-less day. Don and I got up on the roof and finished the leaf blowing and he filled the holes from the pool heater. I have more leaves on the driveway again. Oh Joy Oh Joy I love leaves. Really I do. We then went grocery shopping and bowled on our WII. Kind of a quiet day in the neighborhood. Okay love to all and stay safe.

Saturday in Chobee

Good afternoon to all who care about what I do: This morning we went to the old Okeechobee Rodeo arena for the State High School Rodeo finals. Boy are there some good little riders and some really pretty horses. It is nice to see young people doing good things. They had barrel racing, bronco riding and bull riding. We went with Don and Flo. It was really fun. Now I am home and trying to get up the energy to do something worthwhile. I think I'll take a quick nap and ponder what to do. lol Okay enough for now and I humbly apologize I did not take any pics as I forgot my camera. Love to all and stay safe and well.

Friday Frivolity

Good evening: Today we went to Vero Beach for lunch at Olive Garden. While there I shopped for a new bathroom rug for our masterbath. Tomorrow I think I will rake some leaves and contemplate getting my nails done. I have to go to another nail person as Shannon is recuperating from giving birth to a beautiful baby girl named Maci. I am also trying yo learn how to pack light for our 15 day cruise in January. We are going on a trial cruise in May to use what I learn. Love to all and stay safe.

And a very good morning to all of the faithful: It is absolutely beautiful today. Almost warm enough to have coffee on the lanai. Today we are doing general puttering and Don is putting up my new light fixture in our bathroom. Flo and Don are here so I will close and get busy with my day. Love to all and stay safe.

Good Wednesday Morning to All

My husband pointed out to me this morning that I have not blogged since Saturday so I figured I had better get back on the stick and do it. The weather here has been nice but could be about 10 degrees warmer to suit me. I know I have it rough. lol Have been in the throes of weeding out and doing spring cleaning. Need to get back outside and do more leaves. Yes folks there are still leaves on the ground, just begging to be raked up and bagged. Such fun!!! We went down to Flo and Don's yesterday and put flashing up on their roof to stop a leak in their Florida Room. Well I will try to do better with keeping you all up on my escapades. Good Afternoon to all: As usual I am sorry to have not blogged with the regularity I used to but it seems that the day is over before it begins. I have been busy with my spring cleaning and weeding out. We went to Orlando yesterday to see Rand and Lori at Fort Wilderness. I love that campground. Their daughter and her family were there too. Grant is the 3 year old boy and he is a little sweet heart. We played some canasta and had a cook out. We got home about 10 PM. Today I had three things in my mental itinerary. One was rake and bag up leaves. (I have raked and bagged this area 4 times now.) And it was enough to fill 4 cans and 5 new bags that are about equal to two of my other ones. FYI The dam leaves were still falling as I raked. It has to end soon. lol I was not alone in my endeavor as Mr. S helped me bag and carry them to the street. I need to give credit where credit is due. My next thing was to wash my poor little car as she was dirty even though it was hard to see. Don helped me with that too. He is such a great helpmate. We had our anniversary this week. #15 Time sure flies when you are having a good time. We just had a bite of lunch and now I am going to take a shower. After a small rest period or in other words a power nap, I will work on my third plan as I am going through my closets and drawers and making a goodwill deposit. Unfortunately Don cannot help me with that. Well maybe he can put the bags of goodies in the car. So enough for now. Oh Shannon(My Nail Person) had her baby yesterday. It is a wonderful, beautiful little girl named Maci. Welcome to the world little girl. Okay love to all and stay well.

Not Much to Blog About

Good Afternoon or Evening I guess: I have been doing some spring cleaning the last few days. We went down to Flo's yesterday and went to Brewski's. (Fact: in the 15 years that we have been in Okeechobee we have never been to this place.) We said Good bye to Romy and Claire as they sold their place in the park. Not actually good bye as I hope they don't forget us. They are both nice people. Okay need to get back to my cleaning. Must do it when the spirit moves me. Ss always love to all who follow me. Hope spring is coming into your areas.
