Things are going swimmingly

Good Morning to all of the faithful followers of moi: I am blogging from my favorite spot on the lanai. Mike just came and put some chemicals intoi the pool. Might get to swim later in the week. We had a really nice meeting with Congressman Rooney last night at the Lincoln Day Dinner and the dinner was prime rib. It was good and I am a prime rib snob. It is another glorious day here in paradise. Okay got to go and wii and get breakfast. Love to all and you all know the drill.

Chicken Soup for the Common Cold

Good Morning to all of the faithful followers of moi: We had a very nice and quiet day yesterday. I made a big pot of chicken soup. I feel better today. A few more bowls and I will be back to normal and can get out and rake, rake ,rake leaves. It is another beautiful day in paradise. Hope that spring like weather is arriving in all of the other parts of the world. Okay love to all and you know the drill. Also we played 500 with Don and Flo and that helps my cold too. lol

Beautiful Day in the Hood

Good Morning to all: Hope as this holiday weekend starts,all is well. Just read Donna's blog. It is a beautiful piece of writing. Take time between your bbq's, your picnics and anything else you do this weekend and remember all who fought for us to be able to do whatever we do. Don found a Rick Bayles cooking show and recorded it as I was outside in the front gardens. On this show was a mexican version of Mac & Cheese. I made it for dinner last night as a side dish for the fish the Joe gave us. What a good dinner even if I do say so myself. Rick Bayles has a restaurant in Chicago, need to go there sometime. Okay enough about Mac&Cheese, I need to go WII and see how old I am today. Love to all and REMEMBER take time to smell the flowers.

Saturday in Chobee

Good Morning to all: Hope all is well with everyone. It is another beautiful day in paradise but what else is new. Don't know exactly what frivolity I will get in to to day but whatever it is, it will be fun. Okay going to go make breakfast and then see what happens. Love to all. WII Bowling

Good morning to all the faithful: It is another gorgeous day in paradise. Last night Romy and Claire came over after their adventure to Boynton Beach. We were finishing up dinner. We got talking about WII bowling and I said "Let's Bowl a few games" God what a ball we had. After the bowling we played some of the games on the WII Fit Plus DVD. We stopped at about 11:30 PM We took the truck up to Mr. Whitaker's to get washed this morning and we are just chillin' Okay enough for now.

Still Kickin'

I finally finished my exercises. I treadmilled, cleaned around the pool edge and did my tapes (2) Water aerobics and poolside exercises. I love the energy level I have. See Video

A FEW DAYS AWAY

Well for all my followers : "Happy Valentine's Day" I love you all. I have decided not to take my computer on the four day cruise and will probably not blog. Hope you all can miss me for a few days. Don is feeling mucho better. I put his mickeys in this morning and have finished most of the packing. I am trying to take just one suitcase and one hanging bag for both of us.

We are going down to Flo and Don's for Chicken on the grill and salad. Rand and Lori will be gone by the time we get back from the cruise and I want them to know that we really enjoyed their visit and look forward to next year. Well enough rambling for now
