Happy Saturday

Good Afternoon to all: As usual I am sorry to have not blogged with the regularity I used to but it seems that the day is over before it begins. I have been busy with my spring cleaning and weeding out. We went to Orlando yesterday to see Rand and Lori at Fort Wilderness. I love that campground. Their daughter and her family were there too. Grant is the 3 year old boy and he is a little sweet heart. We played some canasta and had a cook out. We got home about 10 PM. Today I had three things in my mental itinerary. One was rake and bag up leaves. (I have raked and bagged this area 4 times now.) And it was enough to fill 4 cans and 5 new bags that are about equal to two of my other ones. FYI The dam leaves were still falling as I raked. It has to end soon. lol I was not alone in my endeavor as Mr. S helped me bag and carry them to the street. I need to give credit where credit is due. My next thing was to wash my poor little car as she was dirty even though it was hard to see. Don helped me with that too. He is such a great helpmate. We had our anniversary this week. #15 Time sure flies when you are having a good time. We just had a bite of lunch and now I am going to take a shower. After a small rest period or in other words a power nap, I will work on my third plan as I am going through my closets and drawers and making a goodwill deposit. Unfortunately Don cannot help me with that. Well maybe he can put the bags of goodies in the car. So enough for now. Oh Shannon(My Nail Person) had her baby yesterday. It is a wonderful, beautiful little girl named Maci. Welcome to the world little girl. Okay love to all and stay well.

Not Much to Blog About

Good Afternoon or Evening I guess: I have been doing some spring cleaning the last few days. We went down to Flo's yesterday and went to Brewski's. (Fact: in the 15 years that we have been in Okeechobee we have never been to this place.) We said Good bye to Romy and Claire as they sold their place in the park. Not actually good bye as I hope they don't forget us. They are both nice people. Okay need to get back to my cleaning. Must do it when the spirit moves me. Ss always love to all who follow me. Hope spring is coming into your areas.

Good Sunday Afternoon

Good Afternoon: Hope all is well with everyone who follows me. I just came in from doing my most favorite thing. Due to the colder winter, I guess, all the oak trees have shed their leaves. I had raked and bagged the same area next to the carport 3 times and today for something entirely new and different, I decided to do the area behind the house next to the screen room. I raked and Don helped me bag. We had a total of 19 bags besides the barrels. Now I am in the house and showered and we are going to WII bowl a few games. As the title of my blog says "Who has it better than me". Well got to go now. Love you all.

Good Morning to all: I am alive and well but have been really busy. I know I should never be tooo busy to type so I humbly apologize. Things are good here. At least the sun is shining today. It has been raining buckets for the last coupleof days. We did have one beautiful day last week. It is so odd for Florida. Today I am doing housy stuff and maybe a walk on the dike. Good Monday in Okeechobee

Good Morning all: We had a busy weekend. We went to the Irish fest at Sacred Heart and thento the Community Theater for Smoke on the Mountain. Sunday morning we got up at 0 dark thirty and drove to LaBelle to go to a breakfast with Butch and Elaine at RiverBend Campground. There was a high end motor coach show also. Not to worry we did not buy the $1,549,000 Newell. It was beautiful but I still like our little truck camper. Rand and Lori are leaving today. It has been a much tooo short a visit. But Don and Flo are going to be here until April 20. yah Speaking of that we went down to Flo and Don's for pizza and salad. We were in the midst of a game of quiddler (cards with scrabble) and the lights went out. There was a power failure out there but we got home and had power. Okay enough for now more tomorrow. love to all and stay safe and warm.

Friday Frivolity

Good Evening All: We had a busy day today. We went to Lake Placid to see the murals. They are so cool. In each one the artist hides something, kind of like the hidden mickeys at Disney. We did well except there was one that had a kitten hiding and we could not find that. Lori and I were going crazy and still are. It was a nice sunny day but needed to be about 10 degrees warmer and I would be happy. Don, Flo, Rand and Lori are coming over in a little while to play canasta. Tomorrow we are going to the Irish Festival at the catholic church in the afternoon for Corned Beef and Cabbage and at night we are going to the Community Theatre for a play "Smoke on the Mountain" It has gospel and blue grass music. Sunday morning we are going to LaBelle for a breakfast with Butch and Elaine. WHEW Okay enough for now. Love to all and stay safe and warm.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

Good Morning All who read my stuff: Sorry to have not updated lately but it has been busy busy busy down here. We went over to LaBelle and spent Tuesday night with Butch and Elaine as we had to pick up the new car on Wednesday. We only wanted one car to drive back with so they picked us up. We got to surprise them with the Okeeburger. Pat's Lakeside Restaurant closed and we thought it was gone so we passed the info on the B&E. Later we found out that she (Pat) had reopened in the old Fort Drum Diner. We kept it a secret and then pulled a surprise on them. I guess you had to be there. lol We came home yesterday and Lori cooked us the most wonderful meatloaf dinner. Friday we are going to Lake Placid to look at the Murals over there. Will post pics of them. Okay got to get busy with breakfast. Love to all and now I will stay safe and warm as well down here as it is cold. You all do the same.
