Happy First Day of School for those who go to school

Good Morning to all: Thanks to sloppy fingers, I deleted my first blog which was a gem and I am now trying to recreate it. I know it won't be as good but here it goes anyway. School starts here today and we are sitting on the lanai watching the school buses go by and watching "CASH CAB". I know you are all wondering what I did yesterday, so here it is. I DID IT ALL> LOL Could not stop myself so I worked on the fence, twice, cooked stuffed peppers and had a generally wonderful afternoon. Today is another story. Not quite sure what I will do but stay tuned tomorrow for updates on me. Love to all.

I'm Back

For all of my faithful followers: I have returned from the Surgery Center and the excision of the cyst on my back was successful. I have a bandage on my back and I am forced to take it easy for a couple of days. No Treadmill and No Yard Work. Woe is Me!!! lol Yesterday we went to Disney and did a couple of caches and had lunch at Teppan Edo. I had a seaweed salad to die for. The parks are pretty busy and it was hot. We had a few more virtual caches to do but will wait for cooler weather. Going to get the camper ready next week for our upcoming trip. Bought a new TV for it. Need to load it up with clothes and make up the bed. Looking forward to the trip. Got to go Jerry Springer is on the television.

Our Wonderful Day

Good Afternoon to all: I want to tell you all the saga of our morning. We decided it was time to get the truck washed for the upcoming cruise. Being as fitness conscious as we are, we decided to walk back home and get the exercise. We were a little more than half way home when we discovered that neither one of us had a house key. We decided to continue home, on the slim chance that we did not lock the door. Well as it would have it ,we did. We checked all the windows and they too were locked and our wonderful cat has not got the ability to open the door for us. Don got a hammer and chisel and managed to get the door open. Just a little repair necessary and probably a trip to Home Depot. LOL Like Julia used to say "Nothing like being Dumb and Showing it" We are now hiding a key on the patio. Guaranteed we will never need it but if we do, it will be there. Oreo just decided to check out my blogging but Don moved and she headed for the kitchen to get a treat. What a snack hound!!!! I am basically done with the packing. Just a few more little putsy things to do. Have to put Don's mickeys in his hair tomorrow. Well got to get busy LOVE TO ALL

Monday in Chobee

Hi to All: Today is another beautiful day in paradise. After breakfast, we went to the gym. After the gym, we went out to catch a couple of caches. Now we are home to watch soaps and maybe hop in the pool for a few laps. Still cannot believe the amount of energy I have with this ELEM plan. 25 days til the cruise!!! Almost forgot: Our plumerias are blooming. yeh!!!!

Wednesday

I tried to download yesterday's walk but it still would not go. I am going to try a walk later and hopefully it will download. I bought Don a new Apple Nano and Nike+ for our anniversary and he can join in with the fun. We have a pesky raccoon and we are going to try catch it. We got a trap from Animal Control. We are going to keep the girl in tonight so she doesn't get caught. More later

Catching Up

Now that I have my mini alter-ego on my blog I can try to catch up with what little new things are happening and have happened in my wonderful life.

We went on a four day cruise with Jenny, her mom, her grandmother and Butch and Elaine.

Great fun was had by all. The night of embarkation we went to Palo's for dinner with Butch and Elaine. They liked it as do we. After dinner, we went to see "Confessions of a Shopaholic". It was good. I read the books and liked seeing them on screen. Disney was so smart to option these as there are multiple books that will make good movies.

Monday we did our favorite spa treatment "Exotic Rasul" Boy does that make your skin feel good. We did not get off in Nassau.

Tuesday we went to the private island "Castaway Cay" Problem was, it was coooooooool. We went out to Serenity Bay for lunch at the adult area. There was no one on the beach.

It was a pretty day but chilly.

Wednesday we had a sea day but had to make a side trip to Fort Lauderdale as they had a medical emergency on board and had a person to drop off. After that we puttered around out at sea and Thursday we returned back to Port Canaveral.

By the time we got home Rand and Lori had departed for Fort Meyers. Glad we had some good times with them before we left. They are coming again next year.

Then for a couple of days I fought with Mini Me but thanks to Beth and Donna, I managed to do it. Thanks Girls.

Yesterday we went up to Fort Wilderness Campground with Don and Flo to see Rand and Lori. We met their friends, Ed and Donna Miller. Really nice people. We played some canasta and went out to dinner at Carraba's.

Today I did a 5k workout with my nike+ipod. Boy do I like that. Thanks again to Beth and Donna. We went to dinner at Flo's for beef stew and played 500 and dominoes.

As always I wonder "who has it better than me?"
