Day One on the Wonder

Good morning to my pals: We had a wonderful first day on the cruise. Captain John is the captain and Peter is cruise director. We made our reservations for Palo's for Saturday night. Many of our friends are on board. We are at a table for 6 and are sitting with some really nice people. They are also cast members. We felt like celebrities as people kept coming by and telling us how nice it was that we were back on board. After 19 cruises and with 5 this year we know alot of people. Tonight is Pirate Night. Will post more tomorrow. Today is also our Rasul at the spa. Our friend Natalie from the spa is on board. As usual I must go now and get ready for breakfast( only this time someone cooks for me) yeh Who cares that we are in NASSAU!!! lol More tomorrow Love to all

C Day

And a very good morning to all: Just read Donna's blog and Katie is doing better. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Well it is "C" Day (cruise). We are taking it easy as we don't want to arrive at the terminal too early. We tend to get excited and leave and then we are sorry as we have to wait in many lines. We are taking our computer (well mine anyway) so I can blog and keep in touch with the world. Did Mr. S's Mickey's yesterday. They did not have the same stencil sponges at Wally World so I got some smaller ones. They are smaller but they really look cool. I do nice work if I do say so myself. It is nice to still get excited about cruising. That is one reason why I did not kick and scream so much at going on the 5th cruise of 2009. There are people who wake up and don't know who they are and those who can't do anything and are infirmed, we are both blessed with good health and the ability and where with all to do it, so guess what? IT IS A DIRTY JOB BUT SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT. LOL Teri, hope you have a very happy birthday. Will send you a message tomorrow on the day. Florence, our thoughts are with you. Will call you Monday after your test. Getting ready for it is worse than the actual test. Okay time for breakfast and left over packing. There is a MOJITO with my name on it tonight. LOVE TO ALL WHO FIND MY LIFE WORTH READING> I get to see my favorite captain "Captain John". Bought him a Golden Corral Gift Card. That's a story for another blog. lmao

Wacky Wednesday

And a very good morning: Well today is the day before the cruise. I am almost finished with the packing. Just need to put stuff in suitcases. Think I am going to wear my red dress. We didn't get a professional pic last time and we know that we need more pictures of us. lmao Okay got to go make breakfast. Love to all.

Tuesday Afternoon

Good Afternoon to all my faithful followers: Had a few errands to run this am and got side tracked so I am now blogging. We got our documents for the cruise today. YEH!! Just need to put stuff in the suitcase. We have a wonderful lady who has been our financial consultant since we came to Okeechobee. She has a daughter who was just a toddler when we got here. The other day, we stopped in the Edward Jones office and saw a pamphlet on the desk. The little girl is now a beautiful young lady. She is Miss Okeechobee 2009 and she is entering the Miss Florida Teen USA pageant. Her mother is making her work to earn her donations for the entry. It is a good experience for the young lady. We made a donation and Alex came over and picked it up. She is really a sweet young lady. Hope she does well. We will watch it in October. Getting my hair cut tomorrow and Don is too. Then I will do his Mickey's. More tomorrow love to all

WE'RE

Good Morning: First I have to apologize for my error of yesterday. In the title, it should have been we're and not were. Twenty lashes with a wet noodle for me. lol Well today I spring into action for getting packed for the cruise. We were laughing this morning as it seems we only watch Disney movies on the ship. We will see G-Force. Donna, I hope Katie is doing better. Need to get a hair cut today and buy stencil sponges for D's Mickeys. Love to all More later

Guess Where were going?

Good Afternoon All: Having been home a couple of weeks now, we need a break away. So guess if you can guess where we are going. If you said Disney World, you are close but no its not that. Guess again!!! If you can't guess ,I'll tell you. Thursday, we are going on a three day DISNEY Cruise. We need a Rasul. I know we lead a wild and wacky life. Mr. S said it can be a casual cruise. No Tuxedo. What kind of cruise would a tuxedo-less cruise be? We'll see. Maybe I'll wear the stuff I took on last cruise and did not wear. lol Stay tuned for more frivolity because who has it better than me!!!!

Cloudy Saturday

And a very good afternoon to all my pals: Sorry I took so long to blog but had to do my favorite job. I had to grocery shop. When I run out of turkey bacon, it is PUBLIX time. Went to the fruit stand for watermelon and tomatoes. Made our reservations for the Williams Arizona train trip to the Grand Canyon for October. We will take the train ride on my birthday. We are staying two nights at the train depot hotel. They had a nice package deal. I am looking forward to this trip because the last time I went out west, we won the lottery. I could deal with that again. Maybe we stop at the Ball of Twine again. Enough heart stopping activity for one day. Read me again tomorrow for another chapter in the wonderful life I call mine. lol
